Yeah, this is a good game, I had fun with it. In fact I like this game better than Mania, but anyways...

Game feels amazing to control, very fluid and finally having momentum back feels so good.......... so freakingf awesome........
Easily the best part about this game, is the fun levels. Like, i've been waiting for a new Sonic game with fully original levels, let alone GOOD levels. You can honestly tell that Ohshima made the levels for this game, because it mostly fits in line with Sonic 1 and CD, but it also has it's own qualities that makes them awesome in their own way.
Easily the most divisive thing about this game, many people hate it because of it's instrumentation, with some tracks using the Sonic 1/2 drum samples. Where do I stand on this? Well, you can't really stand on music, it's not a physical object (well, unless its a record, tape or CD), so no thoughts there. But, I am personally mixed on the music. I don't hate the Sonic 1/2 drums, so those don't really bother me, theres no track in this game that's outright bad. I found Golden Capital's music to be the weakest, but that's mostly just because it's forgettable. I also found Sand Sanctuary to be pretty weak. Most other tracks are pretty good, some I listen to on their own regularly now.
It looks like a Sonic game, not much to say here.
In my opinion, these are the weakest parts of the game. Some of them are easy, some are just frustrating (mostly the 3 final bosses), and some take way too long. I would've preferred how they worked in Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, but they probably only designed them that way because of multiplayer.
