By pressing XXYYXXXX (performed on the Xbox version), you can access the Debug Menu.

Note:

• After leaving a stage, it will send you back to the Debug Menu
• "Zone11 Act2" is a duplicate of "Zone10 Act Tails" in the sound test.

UNUSED MUSIC

It appears that many music tracks were done by Jun Senoue before other composers redone the tracks. An example would be Bridge Island, which had a Sonic 4 sounding version previously, before being replaced with whatever composer did Bridge Island Act 1 now. Many of these original compositions of the songs can still be heard in the Staff Roll theme. Many of these themes can be heard in this upload of the entire music track folder, near down the list.

Note:

• As seen in the original press release footage, there were a lot of placeholder music, mostly from Sonic 4 Episode II. One track remains from this, and it's the Metal Sonic boss theme, used as a placeholder for Fang's battle in Speed Jungle Act Sonic.
